These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AEGIS Trading platform ("AEGIS," "we," "us," or "our") operated by Lawford Campbell. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
AEGIS is an automated cryptocurrency trading software platform. It analyzes market data using technical indicators and AI, generates trade signals, and can execute trades on your connected exchange account.
AEGIS is not a financial advisor, broker, or investment service. The platform provides automated trading software tools only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency trading carries significant risk. You should be aware of the following:
Only trade with money you can afford to lose. If you are unsure whether cryptocurrency trading is appropriate for you, consult a licensed financial advisor.
To use AEGIS, you must create an account. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
To enable live trading, you provide your exchange API keys voluntarily. Regarding these keys:
AEGIS never holds, stores, or has custody of your funds. All funds remain in your exchange account (Robinhood, Gemini, Coinbase, or other supported exchanges) at all times. AEGIS only sends trade instructions to your exchange via API. We have no ability to move your funds off your exchange.
AEGIS offers subscription plans ranging from free (paper trading) to paid tiers ($79-$499/month). For paid plans:
Exchange fees (spreads, commissions) are charged by your exchange, not by AEGIS. These fees affect your trading results and are outside our control.
AEGIS does not guarantee profits or any specific trading results. Trading performance varies based on market conditions, the coins you trade, exchange fees, your configuration settings, and many other factors.
Backtests shown on our website reflect historical simulations and are not promises of future performance. Live trading conditions differ from backtests due to slippage, liquidity, latency, and changing market dynamics.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEGIS, its owner, and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to AEGIS in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
Upon termination:
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you via email. Your continued use of AEGIS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the service and close your account.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of New York.
